DNA Identification Systems
Gene Prints DNA Identification Systems are
comprehensive DNA and information collection
and storage systems. The DNA and information
collected from an individual provide the
most accurate profile of this individual
that will positively distinguish him/her
even from a twin sibling. DNA stored on
these systems is stable indefinitely, and
can be easily used to generate a DNA
Fingerprint (profile) that is unique to the
individual and is very useful for personal
identity verification purposes.
These products are fully customizable to
meet the specific needs of the client. They
are also printed in either English only or
English and another language of the client's
choice. Currently we have these products in
English only, English/Arabic and
English/Spanish. Custom language printing
usually requires a minimum order. Please
contact us for details. |
|
| Several versions of these systems have been
developed: |
|
1. |
Personal DNA Identification Systems (PDIS™)
designed for the military and homeland
security applications. The DNA collected and
stored on PDIS™ can be easily removed for
laboratory analysis such as DNA profiling
(fingerprinting). |
|
2. |
Personal DNA Cards (PDC™) is a credit
card size version of PDIS™ designed for use
by individuals and small organizations. The portion of this system containing the
collected DNA can be detached and mailed
along with the appropriate payment to Gene
Prints for DNA profiling (fingerprinting).
Detailed instructions are included in the
kit. |
|
3. |
Animal DNA ID Cards
(ADC™) for use in animal breeding and
protection programs. These are designed for
animal breeding, endangered species
protection, and similar applications. |

custom-tailored training programs for
laboratory scientists and professionals who
need training in DNA-based testing. |
These programs may include any or all of the
following components:
- Basic training in molecular biology and
DNA lab techniques
- Technology specific training such as DNA
isolation methods and PCR
- Equipment training (operating and
maintaining equipment)
- Advanced topic specific training (e.g.
Diagnostic DNA analysis)
- QA/QC training
- Troubleshooting
- Laboratory safety training
- Personnel certification: we monitor
the accumulated experience of laboratory
scientists and guide
How may we help?
